Grill fitment

i just got my silviaparts grill.. and the fitment is ehh okay.. it seems to me that the bar in the middle makes the fitment worse, it makes a gap on the bottom because it comes out from the bottom, so it cant sit properly, also the sides are a lil short.. did anyone remove the middle bar and have it fit better?? i dotn know if i want to get it painted yet, i am picky about this kind of stuff.. does authetic gialla grills fit perfectly?? alsso, has anyone put rubber around the bumper so the grill fits better on it and removes the gap??

you got what you paid for, lots of people have already commented on the very poor fitment of the silviaparts grill. Better off selling and purchasing an authentic, which also doesn't always have a perfect fit, or the ionics replica which has better fit than the silviaparts, but still isn't perfect.

This also isn't the correct forum to be posting in, it should be in body and exterior

i have seen some post that removing the bar allowed it to be more flexible and therefore fit vertically better. this is mainly from the ebay gialla style grills. if the sides are short then i am not sure where you could go with that.

try using 3m double sided tape to see if its strong enough to hold it against the bumper on the bottom.
