Tinting side view mirrors? headlights in eyes!

I love the auto dimming rear view mirror, but for some reason my driver side side rear view mirror reflects light from cars behind me at night. It seems like my passenger one dims the lights though!? Anyone have this problem? I'm about ready to tint em at a shop...should be like $20.

Good question! I HATE this! We are the perfect height for headlights to hit the side mirrors dead on in our eyes! You would think that Infiniti would have put the auto dimming on the side mirrors. Let me know what your outcome is, because i need to fix this. I sometimes lean to another side, so i can get the light out of my eyes.

yeah, I had a g35 behind me and i could barely keep my eyes open. Ill post pics if I do it. Im sure a shop can do but the draw back might be that its on the outside of glass and not the inside. It might scratch easy too.

I bet Blue Bat could make some light tinted overlays. I noticed that some Euro cars have a slight blue tint on their side mirrors...

I cant seem to find the right material for the mirrors. It has to be crystal clear in order for it to work.

I have 35% and it still bothers me. and what about those nice summer nights when you wanna cruise with the windows down and sunroof open, but you can't because the person behind you has these bright @$$ lights shining off your mirror into your eyes???

do not tint the mirrors.. Mirrors are different from windows.. the tint on mirrors will start peeling after 1-2years..

re-adjust your mirrors

Does your car have what? Everyone is complaining that the side mirrors arent tinted, and causes us to be blinded by cars behind, err, us. (too many us' ) So no, you dont have anything special, were trying to come up with something to prevent the blindness.
