I'm going to pick up my Escutcheon today. Can someone tell me the best way to remove this thing? Is it simply "snapped" on. Someone suggested a small flathead screwdriver but where should I strat? the side ot top or bottom. This is to replace drivers side Escutcheon.

Also, the new one just snaps on?

went on easily for anyone else in the future, pry it off from the backside (closest to rear of car) and pop the new one right on.
