when i lifted up my bro's evo 9 hood or his s2k, now that's light.

i blame the skeleton structure underneath the hood. anyone know if that's aluminum as well?

Haha, to me our hoods are HEAVY. I'm too used to the weight of the RX-7 (FD3S) hood.

May I suggest lubricating the hood hinges. I live in the Boston area and the hinges were binding, making the hood feel heavy. A little lube took care of the problem.

You joking right I own a 93 RX7 R1 (Full race car now)and the hood of my G coupe is about the same weight I change the hood of the RX7 to Carbon Fiber Yes the CF is lighter, but the stock hoods are about the same http://www.cardomain.com/ride/808731/4

The hood is light, but my sisters 07 altima's hood puts ours to shame. The altima's hood is insanely light.
