The bumper attaches to the car mainly by the two bolts/screws using the OEM plate by the sidemarkers. You'll see what I'm talking about when you take off the bumper.

There is nothing underneath the bumper for it to attach to. Instead, the black plastic under body cover attaches to the bumper to stay on the car. Those covers need the bumper. The bumper does not need anything else but those four bolts by the sidemarker.

The rest is just for stabilization, not support.

THis is the best I could do while at work. There should be holes along the bottom of the bumper that line up perfectly with the holes on the OEM bumper. You use the same brackets/bolts from the OEM bumper to hold the plastic undertray in place.

the poly nismo fronts that i have dealed with were shorter on the bottom. the plastic undertray would not reach the bottom of the poly nismo bumpers that i've seen and thus zipties/custom extensions were used.

the stabilization is what I'm worried about

I don't want to look like some retarded ricer with a bumper that wobbles in the wind

the bottom part on my bumper extends back so it attaches directly to the plastic cover on the bottom. no modifications were made. i just used different bolts

just line up the bottom engine cover with the bumper and drill and attach. You'll need to use new bolts/clips or transfer existing clips over but you do not need to modify or extend the cover.
