Help DIY: Smoke/Black badges?

I need a little help
Just want to know how people blacken/smoke their badges?
Wat is the best way and that will long lasting?

You could take them off and have them powder coated, or black-chromed. I don't think you'd want to spray them with paint or anything, it may chip or flake.

you can't powdercoat plastic or chrome it. the badges are made of plastic with a coating of chrome paint. you can either mask off the area and spray it on while still on car. or you can remove them, sand them, and paint them.

^^^what he said. you cant powdercoat or chrome them since its plastic.
