trunk problem

I was not sure where to post this but I have a problem and could use some help from anyone who might have had the same problem or from anyone who has any ideas. I don't know why but I can not get my trunk to open. None of the electronic openers work. I need to know if there is a way to get the back seat down so I can at least try to pull the emergency cord to open the trunk. Thanks for any help or ideas.

Are you sure the on/off switch in the glove box wasn't switched to off?

If you shove your hand between the seat bottom and the seat back towards the middle...there is a red strap. That strap releases the seat back. Then from there you can climb in the trunk pull the emergency cord.

i had this problem to. i use the red strap. it happened around december 06 for the first time, they said it was loose wiring and fixed it under warranty. about three months later i took it in again for the same thing. they said it was a different loose wire. fixed it under warranty. it happened again 2 weeks ago and i got them to look at it when i was getting an oil change. they told me it was yet another loose wire and would cost 250 to fix(car is now out of warranty). so i guess infiniti does not guarantee any of their repairs and they dont look to hard for other possible problems. that was 401/dixie infiniti in toronto by the way. i didnt get it fixed from them, im going to call infiniti this week and see whats up
