I got a good idea, it's actually what I will do when I get my nismo soon. to hide the license plate in either one of the vents. will cops give you hard time for doing that? cuz it's still showing.... I'm sure cops dont give a damn if we do it here, and it still keeps the clean look of the nismo!

They can still give you a ticked, blocking any of the plate is against the law, and the vents arent large enough to not obstruct the letters and the registration stickers

OK Here we go

This is the bolt on the corner of the bumper.

What I did is placed the undercarriage plastic over the bumper. Scratches the pain on the bumper through the nut that the bolt needed to go to. Then drilled the hole in the bumper. Placed bumper over plastic and put the bolt in.
Same on the other side.

And Middle I just left alone.
It holds on pretty good and holes don't quite reach the bumper so what I could have done is just drill the holes in the bumper and zip tie to the holes in the plastic. But I did not want to do that cuz I change oil at the dealership all the time. So I did not want them to cut the zip ties and then put new ones on and charge me for it. So I just put bumper over plastic so that when I drive air that goes under the car will not bend the plastic out and make it scrape.

UPDATE:

OK I take everything that I said about not fastening this piece of plastic to the bumper back. YOU GOT TO ATTACH IT.
Force of the air that goes under your car will actually push it out from behind the bumper due to that vertical piece that's hanging from the bumper at around 120mph. And it will scrape like a Motha Fvcka.

I came up with a few ways to attach it and I'm going to attempt it today.

I'll post update when I do it.

We had the same problem when I installed the Automotivemods version of this bumper. We had to make up a mounting plate out of aluminum and mate the bumper with the skid plate.

Da**, there is a ton of work that goes into making these things mount and fit properly. The finished product is nice though.
