Is my body shop mistaken? Could they be thinking of the sedan bumper instead of the coupe bumper? The sedan front bumpers and coupe front bumpers are not interchangeable, correct?
The bumpers are completely interchangeable and have the same cover for the plate holder.

Do you guys think the 06 front bumper looks good on an 05 coupe, or should I stick w/ the 05 front bumper (poosibly w/ lip)?

Anybody have side-by-side pics of the 2 or a pic of an 03-05 coupe w/ the 06 front bumper?
You and I both are in the same boat! I've found a seller on Ebay that has the 06-07 bumpers painted for 499.99 +60 shipping I believe. I don't how well that price is though although some folks here have posted a link for a vendor that has them unpainted for 250 so I figure the remaining balance comes from the labor + paint +shipping.

Let me know if you want that ebay link

^^^buy an unpainted bumper and take it to a body shop where they can better match the paint.

Thx for the pix red! So, these are pics of triple8sol's car w/ the 06 sports bumper and 05 skirts? Looks ok to me, but then again I haven't seen a close up pic of the 06 skirt w/ the 06 bumper.

Do most 03-05 owners who have "upgraded" to the 06 sports bumper, also "upgrade" to the 06 sports skirts as well?

Seems to be around $600 for the skirts and splash guards--Is there that much of a difference in the skirts?

I'm witholding myself from starting a new thread and poll regarding whether to leave the 05 skirts w/ my new 06 sports bumper, or whether I should also purchase the sports skirts as well. lol.

jonnylaw,

the pictures that redlude97 posted are of the non-sport skirts w/ the sport front bumper.

if you have the sport bumper, then i (as most people will) highly suggest that you grab a pair of sport skirts as well. flows better, IMO.

g/l with your decision.

Pix of the sports bumper on. Also installed a set of sun auto anodized blue pedals. Skirts should get in sometime later this week. Clear bra going on in about a month I think.
