Help Installing JDM Battery Cover

Anyone have any insight on how to install a JDM Battery Cover. I've read on several posts that it requires modification. Thanks

I did the method above but I used a utility knife and scored the piece until it came off.

I found the dremil tool really easy to use. Just a bit messy.
