2003 oem front lip

it was a PITA to put on. i must have drilled so many ugly wide holes on the bumper to make it fit right. i didnt even bother to drill the holes on the bottom of the lip to the bumper. it was snug and tight enough. anyone else agree that the front lip install sucks? lol

yeah. i installed it half assed but oh well.. took me and a buddy about 4 hours. had to bust out the spotlight cuz it got dark. did you murder your front bumper too? i dont think i would ever wanna roll with the front lip off. haha

whats the best way to tighten the nutt on the passenger side? you know that bolt that goes through the hole on the corner of the passenger side of the bumper? its hard to fit a wrench in there.

Did you have the templates to mark where to drill? I did mine on ramps, by myself, in about 1.5 hours. I thought it was an easy mod.

yeah the templates helped a little but were off. it isnt a great way to mark holes. you had ramps.. thats cheating. haha jk yeah makes it alot easier. i always do everything the hard way.

my G aint dropped.. so it wasnt that difficult. the only thing i couldnt get to was drilling the holes underneath for the lip.

were you able to get to the passenger side corner bolt? i couldnt find a way to fit a wrench in there to tighten the nut.

I have 2-stage ramps that I use for my Vette. At the top stage, the bottom of the tire is about 1.5 feet off the ground. Made it not bad at all.

Also, the 2 attachment points at the wheel openings were done last. Put the car down, turned the wheel. No sweat!
