How much for full paint job?

I've got some ideas in store.... and was just wondering if anyone could give me some round-about costs of painting a G35 to IP + black roof?

why paint your car to a stock color?

why not call some local shops to get some estimates?

depending on how the shop attacks a job like this and the quality of their work, it could get pricey. like i sai...just go get some estimates from shops around you.

custom paint can start at 500 (1 day paint does this, but it's a half@$$ job...if that) to 10k+.

because I love IP... want an 06/07 coupe with graphite interior.... and IP/Graphite in 06/07 doesn't exist, at least not from what I understand.

Seems to be easier than getting an 06/07 IP and swap the interior.

I'd love to see the way this paint job is going to turn out at a max of 1k.

...Am I the only one that feels its not worth it...whatever makes you happy I guess but the way I see it you could put that 5 grand into other aspects of your car ie FI or some really nice rims. I love my IP so if you have an extra five grand just lying around collecting dust go for it, but I could see much better uses of your $!

Maaco $299 Embassador special!!! J/K. For a professional job with no issues youre looking at about 5k. Pearlescents are more expensive though... Theres more involved in paiting. Its a 3 stage paint process. (base coat x2 ... pearl coat x2 ... clear coat x2+) The hardest part of all of that is masking everything off considering that you have to mask the interior since you are going to be doing the door jambs. And also for 5k that usually does NOT include pulling the motor if you want to spray the engine bay.
