35% on the '07 G, 20% on my '06

 

I just looked at the receipt from my BMW. I had 35% all around and I wanted to go darker than that. Is there a 25% or does it go right to 20%?

 

I think it depends on the film manufacturer. I know I had 27% on my last car, and have 20% on my current. 27% was too light for my taste, but was the legal limit.

 

The old sedan is so much more manly.

 

I just checked with the shop. Florida law limits the tint for the driver and passenger windows to 30%.

They offer 35%, 30%, and 20%.

Since I wanted a darker tint than the 35% of my old car, and I want a uniform look, I guess I'll go with 30% all around.

That makes it easy. I'll post some pics when it's done. Hopefully tomorrow!
