Well... each one is held by a nut, so you unscrew these first. Then you take the wiper fluid tubes off the arms. You take them off by sliding them off where they attach to the car end. They sit on there pretty firmly. Then you can take the arms off. Because of the springs they are kind of holding themselves so they won't slide off just by pulling. You have to simultaneously press part of the wiper arm where the spring is towards the window while pulling it away from the window at the same time... I kind of struggled with it a little before I got it, now I know how they come off so it's a piece of cake.
I think I might do a detailed DIY in the spring... too cold out right now.
Also, I'd suggest using old rugs/cardboard around the window/cowl/engine bay area when you're doing all of this just to avoid any accidental scratches.
