I am making modest upgrades to my '05 coupe. The front bumper was slightly damaged so you know what that means . . . Do you recommend the '06-'07 sport bumper or stick with the '05? What is not shown yet is the set of Work Varianza T1S wheels that are on the way (diamond cut finish). 20X9.5 in front and 20X10.5 in back with +24mm all around. Looking to go 255/285/30/20 Michelin PS2 on tires. I am also considering swapping the side skirts for the '06 sport skirts if I go to that front bumper as well. By the way, does anyone know if OEM side skirts come painted or not? All input is appreciated.

 

I'd go with Nismo front, keep your stock sides.

I don't ship non-factory painted body parts...

the 06 sport bumper does not come factory painted...

shipping is way to much, it is almost cheaper to purchase it locally

cuz there's two different ways of modding your car and those are it... I'm in with the clean crowd and like these guys above me are saying the Nismo is hella clean, it's why I went with it

 

you cant go wrong with either Nismo or the 06-07 sport bumper...

but it would be pointless to just upgrade to the sport front and sport sides... you would just look like a stock 06

Totally agreed. If you bought, fitted, and painted the 06 front and sport sides you'd be up to around ~$1.5k I'd think (just a guess correct me if I'm wrong), and sooner or later you're gonna want to buy a set of projector headlights for another $200-$400. So then you'd have a stock looking 06 with 05 tails and $2k in the hole.

And with how similar prices are between all years of G's you could have very well bought an actual 06 for another $2k to begin with.
