these are the prices if u go with a BIG name autobody paint shop that does mostly insurance claims and oem paint parts. They dont really want to take it bc its a lot of work due to the fact that it's wavey and that they will be losing a few quick ez oem jobs while working on your aftermarket bumper so they add these facters in hoping u either turn them down or make them some $$$ bc u are desperate.

mine cost me big $$ too.. more than $500 is right for prep, paint, and install.. My shop said the bumper needs lots of prep and harder to paint on urethane. Also they said you have be creative to make it fit perfectly.. Def does not just bolt right on.. Got a shop that does mostly insurance for Mercedes and BMW Dealers to do mine.. They even painted twice b/c it didnt match perfectly the first time.. Im pretty **** about that kind of stuff.. but now its perfect match and dont have to worry Infiniti's soft paint..
But heres my link https://g35driver.com/forums/picture-share/187829-update-pictures-dg-w-volk-gt-7-a.html
My grill is also the one that comes from CZP.. But its money well spent i feel.. Makes me smile everytime i look at my car..

Are the grills the ones that come with it from CZP?
I was shocked when I saw it was gonna be 1k. I even knew the owner of the bodyshop. Most places around here hate afm bumpers/ kits because they all pretty much suck and need some type of tweaking. They had to paint mine 2 or 3 times! paint kept fish-eyein

Here are some Paint/Prep instructions you guys can take to the shop (less trial and error) I don't know if coz includes instructions with their bumpers but I have painted a few Kuruma Zs from customers whos purchased from him.
1. Sand edges and seams completely
2. Wash all surfaces to be painted thoroughly with TSP in warm water and scotcbrite pads
3. Sand surfaces to be painted with 320 wet dry sandpaper - at this point, you should have a dull scratched appearance.
4. Clean surface and all edges with either Dupont 2319S or Sherwin Williams R7K157 or R7K158 or equivalent.
5. Fill all imperfections. if applicable with a flexible putty and sand smooth.
6. Apply adhesion promoter or equivalent Dupont #2322.
7. Note: Some painters prefer, after cleaning the surface, to apply Dupont "Variprime". let dry and scuff with a scothbrite pad and then apply basecoat/clearcoat.
8.Apply basecoat clearcoat following manufacture's recommendations for painting a flexible polyurethane plastic.
It also depends on which shop you go to. Honestly I've had this bumper painted as a favor and installed for $250 from a local shop. While they charge us $350 to paint and install it regularly. You guys should pay around $400-$600 if you're in a big city. Now from personal experience this bumper takes about 3 hours to install (just like our TS front).
Fiberglass bumpers takes us around 1-2hrs to install.
Edit: most bodyshop rates here are around $50-$75 an hour
