Angry Creating More Trunk Space?

The one thing that annoys me about the coupe trunk is how shallow the height is in it.
Big fender-well intrusions eat up lots of trunk space

I can't find a cooler, laundry basket, or even a baby keg in the trunk.

Has anyone though of replacing the trunk lining with lining that would allow for more trunk space???
I looked under the lining and there's a ton of open space before you actually get to any wires or components.

I heard someone say that you can get the non-nav or non-cd changer lining
and that saves space but i already have that because my coupe didn't come with nav.

On another note, what about creating more space by taking out the panel
with the rear speakers and making the car a pseudo hatchback??

Well, if you have TPMS and roadside assistance (AAA FTW!), you could always take out your spare - if you were really serious about it there are probably members here who could customize a liner for you.

And your trunk looks deeper than my '04, but it's more narrow, too

Ohhh OK, that's more like it... but I think the second pic is still an '07 Sedan trunk (or a trunk of some sort other than '04 coupe)
