literally you can pull it out by pushing each of the plastic pins(?) outward...the outside pins have an edge but you can push them out with a little force. very easy to do

There are obviously the top 4 clips. Then, there are the tabs that hold the grill to the bumper. However, there are 2 "tabs" that you have to turn with a flat head screwdriver. They are located in the upper corners of the grill between the top and second bar. Twist them so the go from <> to []

So is the sedan 2005 grill different? I see 6 tabs across the bottom and I am shoving on them extremely hard while trying to also pinch them but I am having no luck. Any thoughts as to what I am doing wrong? Besides probably being impatient...

it's probably the same.. the pins hold the grille in place pretty well, so just keep trying.. i found that putting a flathead screwdriver in there and pushing them above/below the grille, i can't remember, as I pulled it came out alright.

My plan is to paint the headlight casings black as well and get some 19" black wheels with a polished lip. I'm thinking that it will actually work pretty well once it is completed.

^ make sure you take out all like 6 pins or w/e on the top of the grille.. then with quite a bit of force + screwdriver, lift/pull the tabs at the bottom of the grille till it comes out.. search for ionic grille installation thread and itll show you how to do it

Super easy... 4 clips to remove and 4 push clips inside.
