Best Body Kit
Replicas are okay, but usually require alot more prep work than authentic do.. I don't think they'll ever cost more in the end, but i definetly think that the labor/paint cost for a replica is higher for an authentic..
if you've got the money for an authentic, definetly go for it, but nonetheless the replicas aren't bad themselves

Draco108 you have a PM. Fitment issues are due to the installer. Here are prep and install instructions:
PREP
1. Sand edges and seams completely
2. Wash all surfaces to be painted thoroughly with TSP in warm water and scotcbrite pads
3. Sand surfaces to be painted with 320 wet dry sandpaper - at this point, you should have a dull scratched appearance.
4. Clean surface and all edges with either Dupont 2319S or Sherwin Williams R7K157 or R7K158 or equivalent.
5. Fill all imperfections. if applicable with a flexible putty and sand smooth.
6. Apply adhesion promoter or equivalent Dupont #2322.
7. Note: Some painters prefer, after cleaning the surface, to apply Dupont "Variprime". let dry and scuff with a scothbrite pad and then apply basecoat/clearcoat.
8.Apply basecoat clearcoat following manufacture's recommendations for painting a flexible polyurethane plastic.
INSTALL
1. Install LEFT fender mounting point (two points). The Left sides needs to line up 100% with the Fender Liner and Head Lamp. (Leave screws slightly loose for future adjustments)
2. Install RIGHT fender mounting point (two points). The Left sides needs to line up 100% with the Fender Liner and Head Lamp. (Double check Left point after mounting right and tighten)
3. Close Hood and line up with Hood and Head-Lamps.. Once fitment is insured mark and drill the inner two of the 4 core support mounts.. Drill outer two after confirming fitment.
4. NOTE: If front bumper seems to have a gap with OEM Hood then adjust center two cores support mounts as shown:

6. Install under-compartment engine cover and side-markers

G Thizzle is running the poly urethane TS kit.
Theres nothing wrong with buying a replica kit or an authentic kit.. You shouldn't just the two but catagorize them as aftermarket. There are many many brands and manufacture but the quality of their work is all on the mold builder and how much detail they're willing to put into the kits. My REPLICA KITS fit just fine and there are hundreds of members here with something of mine - no not everything I sell is a replica of something I have custom pieces made by me as well. I've seen authentic kits have minor fitment issues as well as replica. More replicas have fitment issues giving "replicas" a bad name. Some guys just do not take the time to properly copy the kits and even more manufactures do not know enough about the G35 Coupe. We have a VERY unique core supprt and I ASSURE YOU just about every aftermarket bumper you see with an integrated grill will have slight fitment issues unless then time is taken to properly adjust and install the kit.
PM me on any kits that you're interested in and I'll give you the details.
Or post them up here =) and I'll gladly answer them
