i have a white g35xs with stone interrior and i tinted my windows this week and its pretty dark, i was just wondering what kind of tints you guys have and if you get pulled over often ?

i got 15% all around and 50% for the windshield...

 

this is in the sedan section but i'll contribute anyway... i have 5% all around and 50% on the windshield. never been stopped. miami cops are cool about it.

 

35%

 

15% on all 4 doors 5%on the rear glass and 5% on the front strip

PERFECT

 

5% all around and 5% strip on windshield

 

30 all around....cept windshield

 

15% xcept windshield

 

35% on all except windshield.

 

50%, Don't like it to dark...

wow u guys tint windshield.... interesting, thats a big no no here. Well I doubt I would want to do that anyways in the event of an accident if you have something on your car that is outright illegal, bye bye insurance coverage...deny claim... well anyways... I have 30% all around or is it 35% something like that and back windshield is 20%.

i was gonna get almost the same combo then changed my mind..
i think that might be a lil dangerous tho, even sometimes in my car i have trouble seeing people cross the street on dark blocks but that only if they wear all black, but i love the way cars look with the windshield tinted...

 

...Why? Are you storing meat in that thing? Or did you get the graphite interior and your clothes used to catch flame when you sat in the seats?

I would think the 30% is extremely hard to see out of at night and in bad weather.

I'm glad you enjoy it, but i would hate to hit something (or someone) and mess up my baby because i had trouble seeing out of the front window.

 

I'm not sure the %, but I got the 3M Ceramic tint in "limo" all around but left the windshield stock. Mine is hard to see out of at night, but I didn't want two different colors of tint. I haven't been pulled over yet (at least not for tint).

Anyone know what % tint the "limo" is considered?
