Can someone confirm that 06 rear splash guard, sport and non-sport are the same?

Hi:

I ordered the parts from dealership. They shipped me:
Front: 999J2-JSWV2Y3
Rear: 999J2-JSWV2D4

The rear one is not for sport, but I called them they said rear one is the same as non-sport.

Can someone confirm that they are the same? If they are the same, why nissan still make 2 different part number?

Thanks.

Rears are the same throughout all model years. Front are only different for 06-07 sports model.

the fronts are different (different part #) because the 06+ sport model also has different side skirts

I heard rear ones are really really similar, but still slightly different at the shape. The old one will cause a gap between body and splash guards. If the dealership already installed the old one, can I switch to the new one? My seller said he can exchange for me for no charge.

Thanks.

Your dealer is lying to you.

Hi:
Did you guys actually compare both sport and non-sport rear parts yourself or you just hear they're the same from people?

Because Nissan actually make non-sport part number ending with D4, and sport part number ending with Y4. So you guys are saying ending D4 and Y4, even though has different part number, but came with exactly the same thing? If that's what you guys are saying, why nissan makes 2 different part numbers?

Thanks.

if you are referring to just the rears and why there are 2 different part numbers than IDK, but the rear bumper is the same from 03-07 for BOTH sport and non-sport models, so the rear splash guards ONLY are the same for all years

Sometimes there will be different part numbers if the screws are different or maybe the plastic resin for the piece is different. That is not uncommon, the shape is the same though.
