Blacked out Headlights???

Blacked out Headlights???

I just bought my G like a week ago. Wheels and springs are on the way. I wanted to black out the Headlights and cant find the info anywhere. g35driver is huge. I searched and still didnt find it. Can you guys please help me out with that?? Thanks

what do you mean? like a cover, paint, or tint?

I personally would go with tint, because I don't think that putting a cover or painting the headlights black is safe for night driving.

You can get some Overlays from Blue Bat Mobile, or you can have someone open your headlamps for you and paint the housing, but that requires a lot more work....

I would not black out the full headlight since you will loose a lot of output. Blue Bat's overlays look cool and don't block the full lens.

I am sorry about not being specific. I know where to buy the Overlays. I am not a big fan of those. I wanted to get them painted. Is there a place that does them?? Or a forum on details on how too?? Thanks

I am in Gilbert Arizona. I love those blacked out ones. I had no idea that i wont be able to see if i get them. I had a Z before and they were fine

Go to Toy Box Auto.. Its the exit off the 101 south and rio salado parkway. Go talk to Rich over there.. Every Friday they have their guy come in and he does all that stuff.

I have known Rich for over three years I also know the guy that does the Vinyl he is a very good friend of mine. He offered to do them for like 15 bucks and i said no. I want them painted. Ivory holla at me over there. Those things look sick. So whats the price to paint those??

BTW mine dont look like the ones in that pic. Mine are the 03-05 ones

it is so easy to take them apart and paint the inside just do it yourself.

here's the diy i used when i did mine.

I baked them at 215 degrees for 15mins.

Here's a picture of what they looked like when I still had them. I painted them just like the apr widebody g.
