Anyone tried applying 3M clear bras on their own?

Saw this on Ebay and was wondering just how tough it really is. The lower sport bumper area woul dbe seemingly tough, but overall, anyone done this?

Suggestions or just send it to the shop?

This is one of those things best left to the pros. The film is a little pricey and there is very little room for error.

I'm a big DIY proponent, but...
after watching the pros do it, I'd never attempt it myself.

I've did the hood, fenders and headlights on my sedan with no problems. I'd never even attempt the bumper. I had practiced on putting 2 on my former Maxima and one on my wife's Pilot.

Yeah I do not recommend doing it yourself. Have a good installer apply the kit. I have been installing ClearMask for a few years and it is a very difficult project to take on if you do not have any experience... and a lot of patience. Plus if you mess it up its done. Then you have to buy another piece and have it installed.

I would be very careful with buying a kit off of Ebay as well. There are some kits that look nice but the film is thin and has a lot of orange peel to it. Get a good quality film and have it done right the first time. You will be happy you did.
