Kenstyle rear bumper owners
My car is at the shop at the moment getting the kit installed but I've ran across a slight problem. You know where the holes are there is a huge piece of aluminum showing I'm not sure what it is I think it's a re-enforcement bar or something. Did you guys remove this? I'm planning to paint it black. I've already purchased mesh from www.customautomesh.com but I want it to look completely blacked out when you look into the holes. How did you guys accomplish this look?
Also for the guys with the replica kits, what did you use to install the mesh? The extra two dollars I paid for "installation tools" for the mesh was a total joke.
Klumzyee the fitment was about 90% which is very good for a replica kit. The bodyshop is only charging me an extra $150 to modify the pieces. I still saved about a grand compared to buying the authentic kits. The KurumaZ front bumper has perfect fitment and needs no modifcation. Speaking of the KurumaZ bumper it's VERY low, I bought Tein's but it looks like I won't be putting them on anymore.
