When anyone posts a question or an inquiry on Driver they're asking for our
opinion. Lambo doors are great if not needed on show cars, but on a daily
driver unless you consider the attention factor they're a PIA! Individual
expression can be taken too far, consider the Nimo sticker 350Z or the
350Z with the breather protruding thru the hood....just two examples....Oh
yes, how bout the IP G35 at Stillen with the 8" diameter exhaust tips. There's
3 examples of individual expression, or quite possibly retardation....

LMAO @ the things that can be called rice... I mean... I know a lot of people who consider ANY mods made to the car rice lol... and I know ricers who stopped eating white rice cus of all the **** comments their cars would draw... LMAO... if lambo doors are rice... so are skyline grilles, skyline badges, and just about any part us G owners throw on our cars... remember ... no matter how much you spend on your whip... some one out there is spending more on a much more expensive car who is gonna call you a ricer... but to each their own...

i have no problem admitting that the doors are a dumb. They are cool for about a week when your showing off to your friends then real life kicks in and when you want to go out and valet you car, have fun explaining how to open and close and have fun watching the valet driver mess up on the way back.
Car washes are the same way.
dealership services.
Any shop you leave it at.
when your friends want to get somthing out of the car and they forget about the doors.
the list goes on and on....

I also do feel that the doors should only be on a kitted car or somthing modified.

I would take them off if i wasnt sponsored so if i dont gain any weight i can still fit through the door without opening the up.

Hope that help clear up things....
Sorry, bro. I didn't mean to drag you into the conversation in a negative light. I merely wanted to point out how you post pics of you car (lambo doors included) and everyone loves it, myself included.

But along comes some noob, and he gets flamed for asking about which lambo door kit he should go with by probably the some of the same people who gave you props. I agree with you, the doors look better on a kitted/heavily modified car, but since none of us know the OP's plans for his car, people shouldn't be so quick to judge (and flame.)

rice...

nice...

two different things.

i'll agree with eric, lambo doors look good if you do it right. They aren't for everybody (obviously), but they do turn heads (good and bad alike).

damn i love those rims. Tell sam to get new rims so he can sell them to me already.

Lambo doors can look good actually it'll look better on the G then most other cars due to the size of our doors. However like everyone mentioned the downside is the weight of our door makes it either very difficult for an average sized person to operate and impossible for their lady friend to work it.. but enough talk heres a good looking coupe

Amistad Type-C's before anyone asks.. Everytime I post pix of this car I get bombed with PMs

Things to consider
1. You'll want a door kit that'll "flare" out like JT EVO's kit or else you risk hitting our A-Pillar and cracking it every time you use it.
2. Over time you will bend the fender out and like others have stated depending on its use (and misuse) you can bend the frame
3. Your GF/wife will never be able to open these doors.. if "she" can.... what you call your boyfriend is another topic of discussion..
screw the doors i want those rims there hooooooooootttttttttttttttt!!!!!!!!!!!!

^good call, I thought this guy wanted to know what brand to buy? Not if every one else wanted him to get them

If he likes them then he should get them. If we all liked the same hood, wheels, ect it would not be fun to go to a show or meet with all the cars looking the same?

I would not put them on my car because there not my tast but that does not mean im going to burn him because he likes somthing I do not.

Ok If you want to do it, then go for it. Do it for your self not anyone else, but just keep in mind that it is quite a bit of a hassle. I would also recommend JT Autostyle (JT lambo doors) They are one of my sponsors, (not for the coupe, but the maxima) and are really helpful and knowledgeable. Call them, and ask for Tony he will take care of you.
