Unhappy Front bumper and grill damage...any suggestions?

I am wondering how much this is going to cost me to fix. I parked behind a SUV and went in for a cup of coffee on my way to work, this was in midtown Manhattan. When I came out, the SUV was gone, but there was this huge nasty hole punctured into my front bumper, where the license is. My license is all screwed up too, its warped and bent inwards. Also, my grill is bent (the bottom part, right under the big Infiniti logo) inwards. I suspected the pickup backed right up into my car and drove off. I am super pissed, what a terrible way to start the morning.

Anyway, I called up my insurance company, and they said since I was not in the vehicle, I would not be at fault and my rates shouldn't go up. I am wondering how much it would be to get it fixed...would my grill and bumper have to be replaced? I dont think there is anything wrong mechanically, just comestic damages. I am supposed to goto the auto adjustment personal from my insurance company tonight so they can assess the damage and give me a quote. Any body shops you guys can recommend me as well? Thanks everyone.

Probally not more than 1000.00 including paint and body work. Any pics? Have an adjuster look at it and get the parts here cheaper and save yourself a couple of bucks.

Sorry, no pics, but I'll try to post them tonight. My insurance said they will cover whatever costs it goes above my deductible, which is like $500...

Also, I spoke to my dealership where I got the car from, and they said they don't give loaners for damages to the car cause they have to send it to a shop. They only give loaners for services done to the car. That is complete BS!!!

Depends on who your insurance company is. Some insurance companys will only replace with factory parts. some will just simply cut you a check and you can go by crack with it or get your car fix.

your insurance should be able to pay for a rental. Just call them and tell them you need one they should be able to make a reservation for you and you would just need to pick it up.
