Trying to install CF trunk
I've heard that the bolts on the trunk were a b!tch to get off... and it's true. I ended up stripping two of the bolts trying to unscrew them.
Does anyone know how to loosen these damn bolts?!

Get a good cheater bar (i always used a middy/attack lax pole) and some wd40 or even better some PB blaster (available at Advance or any other auto parts store.)
My advice is to spray down the bolts and let it sit for a couple days and then spray it down an hour before you try to take them out. If times a concern a couple times in the same day should work for you.
Theres always bolt removal kits for stripped bolts, but those are a bitch.

i come from the jeep world so i'm used to the most stubborn of bolts, of course i have a lifted 93ZJ Grand Cherokee so i'm sure you can empathize.
Something 2003 or newer should be MUCH easier to work with so i can see what your saying

the socket is a star socket. I went over to autozone and bought a set and tried to take them off. I just ended up stripping the top bolts on each side.
i've heard you could use a dremel. What exactly needs to be done?

Or you could just get a socket from sears or other tool stores that will take off stripped bolts. If its seized on real good just use some heat before cranking on the bolts. This would be a better next step and then grind.
hope i can help
