need help getting roof wing to stick...

need help getting roof wing to stick...

hey guys i have a stillen roof wing for my '08 G35 sedan..

it comes with double sided tape and it's supposed to stick on directly to my rear glass, but i had to take it off because it wasn't sticking on...

i need help do u guys know what i can use to make it stick on and stay on! i'm looking for something really strong i don't really care if i can't take it off in the future...

If you don't care about taking off in the future than you can probably use an epoxy of some sort.

yeah that's what i'm looking for... do u guys know any specific ones that i can buy?

use 3m double side tape.. just make sure you clean up the area where the tape is going to be.

3m double sided tape will definitely hold that in place. I bought some from Home Depot (1/3 the price of some other places) for my trunk spoiler and it is not going anywhere. The thing is not budging. Just make sure you clean the area from dirt and then wipe down with rubbing alcohol before applying the roof spoiler.

well guys it came with 3m double sided tape and it didn't work..

that's why i'm looking for an alternate way of getting it to stick...

I have a roof spoiler and it's held on with the 3m double sided tape and have no issues after almost a year. Preparation is definitely key. Wipe it down real well then use alcohol swabs to prep the glass as well. If you've already mounted and then pulled it off you may want to reapply new pieces of the 3m tape.

if you're applying it when it's cold outside try heating the tape up with a hair dryer first to get it really tacky
