Removing Overlays?...

Removing Overlays?...

any removed their overlay's by chance? i purchased blue bats rear overlays a while back, and they have been on the car for about 2 years.

im looking to take them off but im scared it will leave residue. Anyone done this before? whats the best way todo it?

I did it a couple months ago. Just use a hair dryer and peel slowly. It takes like 10 minutes to do it.

i just removed them - took 2 minutes, hair dryer on a corner to warm up and soften the overlay, then it just peeled right off quickly.

no residue

if residue use goo gone or alcohol 2 clean it up..... but yup take my advice im so cals installer

lol. Yes, the key is to use a good amount of heat, and SLOWLY peel. If you peel too fast you might get residue leftover which in that case, you want to use goo off .

Is there a difference between goo gone and goo off? I thought one of the 2 wasnt safe for headlights?
