Door Rattle
I have had the dealer try to fix the many rattles in both my front door with no avail , the rattle is loud and usually happens
when the audio produces specific bass tones. I am about to give up since it has been 4 times in the shop with no solution to this problem. They even had some dynomat put in the doors with poor results. Any solution or ideas would be helpful.
P.S. When i explained the problem the first time the service manager knew exactly what i was talking about , He said "not to turn the radio above 15" . (yeah right try listening to the radio with the roof open and all 4 windows down at level 15, its like a whisper) I am becoming frustrated and didnt expect this to be such a problem, for such a well designed car.

What is rattling? The door panel? Something inside the door? You might have to put some cork gasket material under the panel where it meets the door, shoot expanding foam sealant in there, tighten any loose screws that hold the door/window hardware in there, or turn the stereo up high enough to drown out the rattle... Good luck.

Re: Door Rattle
I have not noticed any rattles while driving. I do get the rattle in the doors with the volume turned up to 25+ on the stereo. (Seems to be passenger side) I can get the rattle to stop by setting the fade to rear one level. (Maybe two with heavy bass) Or I can also cut the bass back two to stop the doors from rattling.
One of the first things I want to do is change out the speakers in the front. I want only mids and highs in the front and leave the heavy bass in the rear. I figure the crossovers with any good component speakers will cancel out most of the bass signal.
Off topic:
I purchased a lot of car stereo equipment from www.thezeb.com last year. They had some great specials going (60% less than crutchfield or anything else I could find). They carried MBQuart last year, but they do not seem to this year. Anybody know where I can find some great deals on MBQuart. Or other suggestions of other HIGH quality component speakers.

Re: Door Rattle
I have had three different door rattles with my G35. The first one made me feel like an idiot. I took my G35 in and let them know that at 15 on the stereo with certain notes I would hear a rattle. They were very helpful and placed my car in the service shop. They called me a few hours later and ask that I come back to the dealership to verify the noise. I sat in the car with the Mechanic and we both agreed with the noise that I had heard. Well fellas it was an ink pin in my passenger door jam LOL. So the first thing I would do is make sure you have nothing and I mean nothing in your door jam if you have the bose system. As most of you have noticed the door speakers produce as much base as the rear sub.
Ok on to the second rattle. This one required removal of the door and tightening of a bolt that help the window bracket in place. This rattle was serious and very loud. The problem was fixed.
I still have a very slight rattle in my passenger door when the volume is high and a song has base with very low frequency. It sounds almost like it is two objects flexing against each other and causing a very small crack sound. I have not figured this one out yet but plan to take it back to the dealer and let them give it a shot.
I am not sure of the rattle that you guys have but make sure that you do not have ANYTHING in the storage compartment on the doors. Anything placed in this area with bounce with every note and produce a rattle sound.
10k miles in my G35. Bought in April 25th and I still love it as much as the day I drove it off the lot.
