Window Tint opinions

I've decided to tint the windows on my ride. My key priority living in AZ is solar rejection in terms of keeping out as much heat as possible. I also like the idea of going with a product that will keep out a lot of light as well but I'm skeptical about going with a dark color film that will change the look of the car.

What tint job do you think will LOOK best from the outside?? The interior color is wheat.

I am considering V-Kool or similar that will give me great solar rejection with a relatively clear look to the windows.

All opinions are welcome regarding what type/shade of tint you think will compliment the car most.

Are you asking what percentage would be best, or what specific brand / tint product would be best for your intentions? All I can do is offer up a little photo evidence of 15% tint:

Before:

After:

I say go with 15 because lighter tint for a lighter color car such as yours will fit quite nice

It looks nice on NaiveRapture's red g35 so Id have to say its gunna look good on your car also

Dude were you making a trip across the country or something? Why the 20 rolls worth of painters tape all up on there? lol

Oh and as a side note, I'm a little annoyed with my tint shop because they don't tint in front of the 3rd brake light. He said it's just the way the machine cuts them since it's supposed to be illegal to cover that light as you're supposed to have three. I said to him, "I have an LED strip in my spoiler! I don't need FOUR brake lights!" But there wasn't anything he could do about it...

Go to another tint shop that does not use a machine to cut the tint

I've never seen someone wrap their entire front like that haha. Hey though, whatever works right? My front bumper and hood have all kinds of chips in them that I wish they didn't! If mine were flawless and I had to drive something like across TX I might do the same thing haha.

I don't really want to pay to have the car RE tinted, I JUST bought the damn car like 3 weeks ago lol I might go back in and ask them if I can look at their program. If it's anything like I think it is (using a vector file) to make the cuts, it SHOULD be able to be modified to include that area of the back window. I have a lifetime warranty on the film and they said they'll take care of anything I need done to it.

You very well might be right. These characters don't seem like the smartest people on earth.

just curious with the 3m tint. I know 3m is the reflective material so just putting two n two together, the 3m tint will make it little more reflective than? hahah Beebo love the 20% tint tho. and solobaric it looks like you hav NO tint whatsoever. i swear my g isnt that light

I'd say darker the better, especially living in AZ, it'll keep your car cooler, and look cooler. Only problem is parking near the curb at night and cops lol. I also have the 20% 3M tint. It's pretty reflective but I don't know if it's more so than other types. I like the mystery of "hiding" behind my tint

I have wheat int. with 35% on fronts and 20% on rears. It's what's legal here, but I think 20% all around would look much better on mine because the interior reflects back a lot of light. With a black int. it would probably be fine. I had 20% on a previous car and it definately cuts down visibility during night driving.
