My recommendation is to either make friends with a cop or an optometrist. People will occasionally get a doctor's note saying they have sensitive eyes and are allowed to have tint. Then when the cop pullls you over you show him that you're allowed to have it for medical reasons and they can't say anything to you. Never heard of a tint shop signing it off though, don't know how they have the authority, and you don't wanna get busted for perjury!!!

Todays world, cash is king....don't waste it!

Paying to have your tint taken off the drivers/passangers windows is major
stupid! A monkey with a razor blade, spray bottle and a rag could do the
job in 10 minutes....both windows and clean. Why pay for something when you can DIY?
Gary

where do you go about just paying off the ticket and not removing your tint and get it inspected to pay the fix it fine? Do you call the court's clerk and say what?

You will have to take off your tints... And you can do it by using a razor blade, hot steam.. Be careful when taking the tints off your rear windows because you could damage the frosterZ.

BTW, as far as I know you can't just pay the fine in Cali, you HAVE TO fix it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that if you keep getting tickets they call you to actual court.

Got 2 for my front tint and no license on Kuruma Z.

Fixed both, took the tint of the front sides and put a no holes license on my Kuruma. Got both dismissed.

Kinda feels good riding around and not worrying about being pulled over for that stuff.

If I do put the tints back on, it would have to be in the summer time when its hot. Then I take them off in September. Shop told me $40 bucks for fronts. Thats cheap to take off and add again based on the seasons.
