Mastergrade Hood

So after all the drama over at my350z with Showstoppers, MG decided to handle business themselves. I've PM'd the people on driver who claim to be associated with Mastergrade and asked for updates...none of them responded. So, I decided to PM Boomer himself.

Yeah, I should have it done within the end of the month

I'll post up pics soon over there

Boomer

So what do you guys think...overrated/overhyped?

EDIT: it's not what I was expecting...but it looks interesting and functional.

My Original post is below.

I for one am stoked about the "Slayer" design, but being a former ViS customer myself on previous cars, let me just say, never again.

For those of you who don't know, please use these threads as reference:

mastergrade products are pretty great. They are substantially better than seibon products and I in fact love the new vis slayer hood

The angles of the vents do not even go with the lines of the car. Looks like they took an aftermarket hood they thought would look cool, cut the whole thing out in two squares and just glassed them back in on a g hood. I love mastergrade products as I have the mg2, I would love if you guys made a top secret replica so us g35 owners have a choice of top secret with a perfect weave, because I have yet to see one from anyone else (that hood lines up with angles in the car). Doesnt look bad though...

Ha..We made the design from scratch free hand. I wanted to compliment the clean G35 luxury car with a clean hood that's not to dramatic. Alot of hoods out there has to have a body kit for it to look right.

But thanks for the comment

Sounds great, I already have the MG2 and love it. I would like to compliment MG2 with the MG3? lol.

i think small vents near the top, just outside of the centerlines would look like SEX.
