Power Window Issues

Every time I use the automatic window closing switch, it closes, then quickly reopens about 3-5 inchs. How do I solve this?

I think the window motor needs to be reset, I believe there is a thread here about it somewhere, let me see if I can find it.

Hopefully the reset works for you. Mine started doing this and then a week later it gave up the ghost. I ended up having the whole window motor replaced.

Nissan Window Motor Failure....?

The window motors that Nissan uses leave a lot to be desired. My neighboor
has replaced 3 in his Z, I think he plays with it....

from what I've read on other threads, the nissan motor was created w/out a vent and therefore it fills w/ carbon filings that clog the motor.. the only way to fix it is to disassemble the motor, clean it, regrease it and it'll work fine.. If you just buy another one, it'll do the same thing eventually..
