Question IONIC gialla replica grill users!! NEED YOUR HELP!

hey guys!!,I installed my gialla replica grill from Ionic and rand with double sided tap on bottom and was making wind whistling noise when i drive, so following Jose's recommendation, I took off all the double sided tapes, and ran the grill without anything except obviously the tabs on the top.
guess what, its still making wind whistling noise.. I have 350gt emblem on the grill.. but i dont think thats the cause of the whistling noise.. help me out~!! even took out my arc panel..
Should I put double sided tape back on the bottom of the grill, but this time, make it air tight on all bottom and sides?
Need suggestions..Im tired of driving around in my G sounding like bub rub and lil sis from Oakland..WHISTLES GO WHOOO~~

Interesting. I have never noticed a whistle with mine at all. I will have to listen more intently just to make sure though. I never used tape per a few recommendations and only the tabs hold it in place. I don't run an emblem anymore but when I did I still never noticed any whistle so that's news to me. Hope you can get it ironed out.

Love the grill, but noise is constant..even going at 20~30 mph..

I have come to the conclusion that I don't have a whistle. I have been paying close attention, both windows open and closed and still don't hear a thing regardless of speed (20 - 80mph).

Can you take a vid or something of the whistle? I am really curious how loud it is.

I tried to record usin voice record function on my cell phone, but did not come out clearly..kinda hard to record without picking up other noises since the car is in motion. But it's pretty loud..If I can hear it with my windows closed, then its loud..

mine was whistling really bad and i put some 3m tape on the bottom and its not as bad as it was. i have the infiniti logo on mine. also i moved my latch down so the gap isnt as big between the hood and grill.

I have an Ionic Gialla grill and never noticed any noise after the installation. The only "whistle" I get is from the Popcharger intake from time to time lol. Sorry.

I will try to lower my hood latch to make the gap between the grill and hood tight..when i adjust 3 bolts, am i making them loose? if then, do i need to put some type of washers between the existing nut and the bolt head to make it tight? because if im loosening them, I sure there will be some sort of rattling going on..no?

no you will loosen them up and move the latch down and tighten them back up.

I just installed mine and notice a very annoying whistle noise. Please let me know how you resolved this as it's quite annoying when cruising on the hwy.
