35% front window tint CA, have you gotten a ticket?

I've tried searching but couldn't find an actual poll on how many people have gotten tickets in CA for 35% tint on their front windows. I want to get 35% but really want to see how many people have gotten tickets for it.

uhm last time i checked cali is EXTREMELY **** about front tint.. im pretty sure they don't allow ANY. Maybe you can't really see 70% but you still can't have anything in the front

but to the OP, getting a ticket for tint is all your luck and your driving. If you drive like a douche and attract attention of COURSE you will get a ticket. If you just drive pretty chill most likely than not you won't get a ticket for it. This is where luck comes in. So I don't know how it would be useful to you if others got tickets. Cali is the worst on those stupid little laws so you will get mixed results

Front windows are not allowed at all in California. Unless it is factory tint. As far as getting ticketed for 35% tint. I think it depends on your luck and the color of your car. 35% on a red car like mine it shows a lot more then a black car with 35% tint and yes i got ticketed for my 35% tint. That's how i found out about the no front window tint in California. Go talk to your local CHP and they will provide you with all the bs you need.

If you get hassled... try and tell them you have Lupos which is a disease that makes your skin severely susceptible to sunlight.

I tried it however I was sporting a really nice tan at the time... hence, it didn't work.
