Aerocatch hood pins...
... can burn in hell.
I did the whole, "measure twice, drill once" saying... no problem cutting the holes in the hood, or getting them angled right and even (this would be the easiest part, despite being the most nerve racking).
The point is... I don't see how you crazy SOB's line that **** up with the post underneath. What, Aerocatch gives you like 4mm of space you gotta hit for the pin to lock in smoothly and correctly. Yeah... right. I started with the passenger side... shotty. The drivers side went a little better.
All in all it took me like 6 hours from the second I out tools until I put up the last wrench and said my last cuss word. I did about 5 things on the car that needed to be done, including doing some fuel lines, modding the PCV system, etc., and this sumbitch was the hardest of all...
Oh well... I'll have pics up later this weekend. I'm glad I'm a patient man... They look great now, but I would never do this again...
