How to remove this piece

How to remove this piece

Does anyone know how to remove this middle storage piece?

you gotta pull out the aluminum trim that runs along the dash.. and you should see screws that hold that lid.. i can send u a pdf on how to take it off..

IRC that upper cubby hole is burried. you need to remove the radio finisher, lower glove box, footwell dash trim piece and the silver trim band.

Unfortunately all the trim pieces are layered on top of each other and that happens to be the one in the back.

hes right, for the most part. ive done this a long time ago, and I dont really remember EXACTLY what i did, but I do recall taking out the shifter console, double din, glove box and trim under glove box. I think you also have to take out the clock trim on top also. Basically, everything on the passanger side and headunit. Why are you taking it off, just curious.

the damn lid popped a "bump" which looks super awkward on my car now.... Im trying to take the lid out and glue that baby down.

I had that problem too. What I did was pull back the lifted part more.. to expose the plastic piece under, put some glue, along the trim inside under the part that is lifting.
To hold the panel down for drying the glue, I used a couple of old CDs and slid them in between the silver trim and the panel, ...let the glue settled and bam! its glued back on...
