Is there a problem applying tint material over the dots on the rear glass?

I read and heard from a friend that there may be some problems when applying the tint over those black dots on the top band of the rear glass panel...

could someone explain what the problems could be and how do good tint companies go about overcoming this problem?

many thanks in advance.

the dots are ceramic and tint doesn't stick to them well, it leaves a light ring around them that is pretty noticeable. A good tint shop should be able to get them to stick, either through sanding or the use of an adhesive. Don't settle for spraypaint or vinyl

thanks redlude.
so it seems the good shops will sand it or use glue??
i read about vinyl but its weird from the inside. there is a black bar layer on the top of the rear glass...

why do car manufacturers but those ceramic dots on in the first place?
can those dots be removed?

Does the tint shop do this or is this something you would/should do yourself?

Yup, the place I am talking to with currently seems to be in that category. sucks cause they are the only licensed llumar dealer less than 50+ miles away lol.. This is the response I got asking how they handle ceramic dots on cars like my friend's 328 and my g35:

Hi,
We usually install vinyl over dots on the top of the back windows.
The way we do it is that we tint up to the dots and dots are covered by high
performance vinyl.
Your G35 usually does not need it because film sticks very well to them.
On 328 I would recommend doing it.
Side windows come out fine without messing with dots.
We have samples of all films we carry.
Thank You
Nino
