I got my eyes on a seibon carbon fiber hood with the vents. At this time its unknown if in fact i'll get the hood for sure. But there is some bad damage on the hood near where the hinges bolt on too. It's on the outer edge, and looks like its been gouged a little. Now im not the worried about it because i can score the hood for cheap. I'm just wondering could this be repaired or made to be less noticeable? Oh and the hood is painted black, so i figured i could just use some putty and fill the damage in, sand and paint. Any input would be awesome! thanks!

if you plan on painting it, pick it up take it to a body shop and have them fix and paint it for you should still cost you less than buying the hood from a dealer
