removing splash gaurds

removing splash gaurds

i want to remove the front splash gaurds on my 04 sedan. i have seen pictures of cars with them removed but im wondering is there anything behind them like a whole or something that i am going to ahve to fill in? how are they even help on?

If they were installed at the dealer, there should be a hole in the bottom of the side skirt, but if someone else installed them later, they may have not opted to drill. I installed mine in my 06 sedan 2 years after the fact and chose not to drill. The tape holds them in place just fine.

they its the factory splas guards. ill look for the bolt on the bottom

it's not really a bolt, just one of those black plastic fasteners.
