Nismo GT Titanium Shift ****

Just put this on my car.

Removing the OEM **** wasn't as difficult as some may make it seem. I just lifted the area around the shifter, placed a channel lock to secure the shifter and placed another channel lock around the **** and turned counter-clockwise.

Here's some pics of the ****. Slightly darker than the titanium trim, but pretty damn close. I'm very happy with the mod

Re: Nismo GT Titanium Shift ****

home depot...in the plumbing section...under $2.00

check this thread out...

My350Z GT **** thread

the **** doesn't go down far enough, so there was a small gap between the bottom of the **** and the top of the boot. i juts pulled the boot up and ziptied to the shifter.

the boot will still move down/up with enough pressure, but under normal driving conditions, it works fine and there's no more gap.

Re: Nismo GT Titanium Shift ****

You know I actually put my finisher underneath the boot. It still holds the sucker together and stops the incessant rattling that happens if you don't have something there.

The reason I didn't put it above the boot is that I have the willow interior and the black rubber doesn't match at all... I'll give it another shot with the finisher above the boot, but I don't think I'll like it this time either. Maybe I should have gone with graphite, shoot.

That looks sick. What finish is that? Is it the original or matte finish?

Re: Nismo GT Titanium Shift ****

So, how does it feel?

Weight?

Grip (easy to keep a hold of)?

Feel (does it fit right in your hand, allowing a good grasp and a good angle on the shift ****)?

Heat (does it get too hot to hold on to after sitting in the heat or after operation due to tranny heat transfer)?

I've always thought that shift **** looked sweet, but those^ were the questions that would always come to mind. Really appreciate any feedback you can provide.

Feels good to me

Weight?
It's a little heavier then stock
Grip (easy to keep a hold of)?
I have sweaty hands and I can grip the shift **** fine

Feel (does it fit right in your hand, allowing a good grasp and a good angle on the shift ****)?
I like shifting holding it like a pistol so it feels good to me

Heat (does it get too hot to hold on to after sitting in the heat or after operation due to tranny heat transfer)?
Yes the **** gets hot, I usually put a shirt over it.

Sorry don't know a P/N for the ball & **** washer/seal. However this may be of interest to you.
