I have searched and all I can find is your standard carbon fiber? I am wanting to work with silver CF, hood, overlays, etc? Any help is appreciated.

I am planning on doing a light spray or tint with the OEM color over the CF and I am not wanting to have a "dark theme" I am going more for a lighter look. Brushed aluminum, silver, etc..

Any help is appreciated!

Chaser-Aero in Maryland sells Silver composite parts. Most colored CF is actually kevlar. its a pretty damn close match to the Brilliant silvers if I must say.

 

Can I get all kevlar body panels?? =D

 

Most Silver CF are NOT kevlar. There are no silver Kevlars unless tinted. Silver CF looking parts are made of Texalium which is a fabric woven to mimic the CF for exactly the purpose. Cosmetically only. No weight or strength properties.

 

Interesting! I found that VIS makes several parts in the silver CF (texalium) the only piece they don't do is the rear CF diffuser which was the #1 part I am wanting!!! but they have hood, fenders, wing...


this will be going on a Lakeshore coupe. I just bought some DPE LS5 brushed aluminum wheels from accordfreak as well. I am ready to start my project. I plan on picking up the car end of this month!

 

beleive it or not ebay also sells alot of silver cf parts for g35s also..simply type in "carbon fiber g35" alot of large name vendors.seibon,carbign craft ect. sell on there..
