Window Seals

I don't know what they're called, but the rubber seals on the top of the door opening where the windows goes up a bit when you close the door...are they known to be not durable on g's? My seals are letting in water...and the water dries on my tint and leave like drip lines all over and it looks nasty. Do we need to change them every now and then? I just want to know if mine are just bad...or if it's the window motor not going up all the way?

I drive an '04 g35 coupe.

Please and Thank You!
