Hey guys, quick question...i tried searching but no available answers. Recently, i noticed that my passenger side window upon rollup starts sqeaking. My drivers side is fine. Is there anything I could do to fix this, kind of annoying. I was thinking maybe spraying the window with WD-40 so when it rolled down, it lubricated the insides...this might be a dumb idea though. any suggestions?

not at all. no fixes so far. And now, my driver's side window sometimes likes to roll to the top then come right back down, or when it's at the bottom and I roll it up, it gets stuck. wtf

 

BUMP.....Same problem here someone help us. If not ill be taking the panel off and figuring it out myself next weekend.

 

you need to reset the window motors. i had a problem where my driver and passenger window would rise to the top and go a little further, making some kind of squeaking sound. i took it to infiniti under warranty, the service rep told me they need to reset the window motor positions. thats all i know

 

I dont think it has anything to do with the motor memory. that just controls how far the window goes up or down and the AUTO up feature. Cleaning the window helps it from squeaking. I notice when i clean my windows it wont squeak for a few uses. Sucks having to clean your window just to make it not squeak but it only takes a minute and it should help the squeak. Still looking in to why they squeak in the first place.
