I think it does. I have the forged **** and it made the throws easier. I also got less vibration through the shift ****. Im guessing the extra weight had a vibration dampening effect.

I have the forge big ****, the shifting feels more precise and smoother, I also have the neuspeed short shift kit. One downside is the **** is very unpleasant to hold when its winter time :-(

Had a 520g custom Tommy Kaira inspired shift **** made.
The weight def gives shifting a more solid feel.

I'm not sure if it's mentioned... but it makes it feels more precise and smoother throw.

Damn, must be nice... I've had my eye on the Razo RA25. 340g and ball style. pretty good price too. I just can't convince myself to drop over $100 on a a shift ****. This one meets my criteria so it'll do. http://www.more-japan.com/razo-aluminum-round.html
