I know mine is not a GTR, but the GTR was the skyline all the way up until the R35, it was known as the Skyline GTR, damn, are ppl on here really that fvcking dumb when it comes to the vehicles they drive? The first concept of the R-35 was almost identical to the G with the GTR front bumper. Did no one see this, wish I could find a pic of it.

Skyline GT-R: A Brief History
The Skyline name dates back to Nissan's acquisition of the Prince Motor Company in 1966. Prince engineers influenced the development of the P510 and 240Z, and Prince models such as the Gloria and Skyline became Nissan models. Although the Prince had built performance versions of the Skyline since the early 1960s, the first Skyline GT-R was launched in 1969, powered by a 16-horse twin-cam inline-six.
R32: This eighth-generation Skyline was launched in 1989. The GT-R version was powered by a twin-turbo 2.6-liter I-6 developing about 280 horses and featured all-wheel drive and four-wheel steering.
R33: Launched 1993, the R33 Skyline GT-R was bigger and heavier, and performance and handling suffered slightly. All-wheel drive and four-wheel steering system had more sophisticated computer control.
R34: Launched 1993, the R34 retained all-wheel drive and four-wheel steering. Nissan still claimed only 280 horses, but V-spec version would nail 60 mph in under 4.5 seconds and the quarter mile in about 12.5.
WOW, all SKYLINES (G35), The GTR heritage is that of a Skyline/G35, So the new R35 may not be totally related, but the R35 has a great heritage from the Skyline (G35). The soul and roots of the R35 come from the Skyline, hell if you put a G37 and a R35 next to each other you would even see that they have the same length, they may not look identical, but they look similar. I just can not believe that some of you are like this, can you not make your own decisions? It is like one person said they did not like these and now everyone just agrees. It is ridiculous that ppl want to be part of the "click" or group, reminds me of that movie Mean Girls, except most of you are men, excuse me, BOYS. Lets agree with everyone so they think I am cool. What a crock. Be original, different, if not just pull the trigger b/c you are wasting precious oxygen and natural resources that someone with an imagination and ORIGINAL ideas can use. Oh I forgot, but you are so popular, NO YOU ARE NOT, YOU ARE IMITATING SOMEONE ELSE SO THEY LIKE THEMSELVES, SINCE YOU ARE IMITATING THEM, HOW ARE THEY NOT GOING TO LIKE YOU? YOU ARE THEM AND THEY ARE YOU, I KNOW ONE THING, I AM ME!!!

Lets say you have twin turbos, and maybe 500 to 600 whp, and you put the kit on. Why not? You could easily smoke a factory GTR of any year, so then why not put the GTR front on? Call it an r34 1/2 or something? It is the same as these guys buying new Camaros and turning them into Trans Ams or even when ppl take a non-Hemi Cuda and put a Hemi in it, or when someone gets a stock vette and puts all the extras from a Z06 on it and call the vette a Z06, what is wrong with that? If I spent the same amount of money on my g and it has the same or more hp and tq and get down the road or track just as fast if not faster, why not put a GTR front on and even a GTR badge. It is not a GTR b/c it is not "souped up" from the factory, but if I soup it up, why not. Kinda like the JDM Nismo 380RS, a total Japanese only car, with a bored out VQ35HR to 3.8 liters, with 345 hp? I mean really? Only 300 made, only 299 still factory. If I bought a 07 OEM 350Z and pulled the HR engine to have it bored to 3.8 liters and put all the Nismo body kit and suspension components on it, I am damn sure gonna badge it as a 380RS.

^ just because you slap on twin turbos and a GTR wanna be front bumper it still won't make it a gtr. It will make it a very fast twin turbo g35 with an ugly bumper. So if you have a 1002hp g35 and do a bugatti front en conversion iguess it'd be ok to put Bugatti badges since it makes the same power?

You sir are a ricer. You're comparing apples to oranges. A "stock corvete" and a z06 are both chevy corvetes. No matter how hard you try to make your G look like a gtr it will never look like one and it will never be one. Completely different bodies. The GTR wanna be front bumper is fugly and doesn't flow with the G. Is very square while the G has very round lines. And the fitment is usually terrible.
