wow, i want a pair of those!! i saw a video on you tube where the guy sprayed the chrome inside the tail light black and it gave it an overlayed effect.

Nope, CNC programmer. Ya Ive got it at home too.

Just got done pulling all the LEDs out of the housing. I have to machine a ring that the LEDs attach to for the back of the new light housing then I can solder all the bulbs together.

The 2nd light housing is at work and should be done now, I started the machining cycle after I left work.

Here are the LEDs on the back of the housing. The ring will just be 1/8" thick and have holes for the LEDs to shine thru and the 4 pins for each bulb to go thru. Then It will be held to the housing with 3 or 4 small screws.



This is definitely a lot easier than I thought it would be. Just taking a little longer since I have to design and make all my own parts.
