Starting dual LED ring in coupe tails
3D printers are nice because you can put objects inside of objects (think like putting a smaller ball inside a larger ball). I'm not sure of the durability of most 3D printer parts for car use as most of them just glue layers of plastic to each other. Not sure how durable the glue is.
Well if someone can find me a smashed 06+ tail or sell me one for cheap Ill get started. Just need the inner chrome bezel to be intact. Then once I have everything mocked up, wired, and fit Ill cut open my tail, swap bezels, and seal the light back up.

ive wanted this for the G's since they came out in 03.. I was only 13 years old then, and i loved the skyline. but when they came out with these, they second circle didnt light up. it was always off with me.
i dont care for the 06 lights cause of that little fuccin button on the driver side for trunk release. so that kills it for me. MAYBE you should try and do a fab up for a mixture of the 06 bevels or w/e, with the 03-05 circlular reverse lights and w/o the button? just imagen it in your head... real clean.. and i know youre all about being merticulous and ****.
anywho. you should offer the whole light housing done.. or just the smaller LED ring and let ppl buy it as a DIY kit..
you got some options, bro. make you some $$
if you need more ideas, let me know, or ask any other G owner.. we all have thought of something custom for our cars that noone has and we dont have the abilitiy to make..

No updates... not starting til the car is parked in the garage for the winter... another 2 or 3 months. All the parts are machined and ready to go.
