More important things to work on right now.... like finding a G37 front clip for my car. Still in the process of dismantling. Pass fender and side skirt, and hood come off tonight.

tail lights might get started this weekend or next week.

Awesome job with the machining and design. How many years have you been programming? Do you have experience with GibbsCAM at all?

 

4 years programming but I've been 3D modeling for over 10 years. I use FeatureCAM mostly for programming. Also use AutoCAD and Solidworks on a daily basis. I have a copy of MasterCAM but never really got into it.

 

I may have a set at the end of the month.....SHH!!!

what else are you doing to your car, since you said other projects...

I think the front conversion is a great idea, but business-wise you might want to focus on this project first, it seems like you could quite well hit the homerun if you are able to duplicate the end product for a reasonable price, judging by the amount of interest this is generating.

looks sweet.. so the side blinker comes out and goes into the center? The existing lights (LED's) goes into the outer ring.. So they are the brake light/running light/turn light?
